Delay message

When I try to turn my nest on manually it will show me a message saying - delayed for 2.55 hours. Why is it doing this?

Thanks for reaching out about your thermostat. To help you troubleshoot the issue, it would be great to know two things:

• The model of your thermostat: This will help us narrow down potential causes. 
• Any error codes: Many thermostats will display an error code on the screen if something's wrong. the error code might also be shown in the app.
