Delayed AC

Sometimes my thermostat says delayed 

and it gives me a countdown.  
why ? 

it’s wired in directly.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue when calling for cooling with your Nest Thermostat. In some cases the "delayed" message means that your Nest Thermostat is not getting enough power. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

• How is your Nest Thermostat wired?
• What is the power readings of your Nest Thermostat? You could find it by going to Settings > Technical Info > Power.
