Delayed Temperatures

Delay in reaching temperatures at designated set times! I've set my temperature to 70 degrees at 7:00 am. If I get up around 8:00 an it STILL registers the house temperature at 68 with 2÷ hrs?!?! Why do I have to bump it up to 74 to get it warming up to 70 quicker???
