Nest thermostat shows "Delayed" preventing the compressor from engaging.

@rmhughes0711 , can you take a screenshot of the Nest Thermostat Power screen? Go to SETTINGS > TECHNICAL INFO > POWER. Once on power scroll up slightly to see the lin(c) should be 200mA(c).

It is showing 200mA(c).

@rmhughes0711 , in that case, you are getting a full charge from the transformer to your thermostat and your thermostat is using the maximum amount of current that it can to charge the internal lithium ion battery.

The problem has not recurred since Saturday. It seems that the thermostat got stuck in "Delay" mode and would not release. The only way I could correct it was to cut the power to the entire house and turning it back on, effectively rebooting it. It appears to be a glitch.

Hey rmhughes0711,
Thanks for the update. Could you please try to remove your C wire on your Nest Learning Thermostat? After that, restart your thermostat by going to Settings > Reset > Restart. Make sure to turn the breaker off first before touching the wires.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Jenelyn
