Disconnect devices

I moved and left the thermostats there and need to disconnect so the new owners can set up.

If you’re moving to a new home and plan to leave a Nest product behind for the new homeowners, remove the product from the Nest app and reset it to factory defaults. When you perform a factory reset, this will delete all of your personal information from the product and let the new homeowners add the product to the Nest app on their own phones.

  1. First, remove the product from the Nest app.
  2. Then, reset the thermostat to factory defaults.
