Display is not connecting to base

I get an error message on my app, and the therm only reads Please attach display to its base.

The Nest app reads unknown error: therm wiring issues.

I have checked the wiring and all good.

I had to reinstall my old thermostat since it never connected to the base. The wiring is now configured for the original therm.
