Do I need a yellow wire? My system doesn't have one

I don't know if we did something wrong or if our system isn't compatible. Our heat works and we can get the cooling to come on... but the fan to our AC won't turn on at all. The AC unit doesn't make any sound like it kicks on. AC worked fine last season before we installed the Google nest.

I see that your Nest Thermostat 2020 is a heating-only system, which therefore won't be able to control any cooling since there is no dedicated cooling wire that is connected to the Y terminal. A few questions: Is your Nest Thermostat 2020 newly installed? Who installed your Nest Thermostat? Also, could you send us a wiring photo of your HVAC control board where the other end of your thermostat wires are connected?
