Doesn’t seem right

I’m in Mexico, my nest thermostat in Canada sent messages at 8 am temperature is good at 7C but when I opened Ap at 9:30 the thermostat reads-3 C. Outside temperature is only-8 C? Should I panic?

Safety Temperatures can prevent your home from going above or below certain temperatures when the set limits are reached. You'll find options to adjust your Safety Temperatures in the Nest app, the Google Home app, or on the thermostat itself.
