I have a Nest installed at a remote holiday let. I absolutely don't want any sort of Auto Schedule as
1) I don't want it learning erratic behaviour from guests.
2) I don't want it averaging between the Eco setting when the property is empty and the warm setting when it is occupied.
Yet it is clearly doing something. The other day I spotted that while it had maintained my very granular schedule it had subtracted about 5° C from each temperature. Then today I got a message entitled Seasonal Savings proudly saying "Nest has finished adjusting your schedule. Your new schedule can help you save energy for the rest of this season"
Under Nest Sense I have Auto Schedule turned off. What more can I do?
I'm in the UK and I didn't buy my Nest from an energy supplier so I doubt they are doing it.
thanks,
Ken

Thank you for the information @KenBuchanan . I would be happy to try and assist. Seasonal savings is a separate optional program you can enable.
Basically you get a notification on the thermostat display or in the Nest app and select if you want to use it or not and changes will be applied to the schedule afterwards if enabled. You can read all about it in our Seasonal savings page here.
If it was enabled and you want to disabled it, no worries. All you have to do is select your thermostat in the Nest app and go to the history section for heating. If seasonal saving is running you'll see the remaining days there and a "Stop" option.

OK, it seems to have turned itself off, probably because I adjusted my schedule after I noticed what it had done.
thanks,
Ken

No worries. Keep an eye on it and if anything comes up, let me know here or open up a new thread.
Have a great week ahead!
