E102 error after condensate pump replacement?

Jamie333

A technician replaced my condensate pump yesterday, because it was tripping my circuit and he said it was "saturated and in bad shape."  Since he replaced it, my Nest is giving me an E102 error.  I'm assuming this MUST be due to the pump replacement as it is the only thing to have changed?

Hi Jamie333,

Thanks for bringing this up here in the Google Nest community. Let's check this out. There are a couple of things that we need to check before we conclude. Please answer the following:

  1. Are you from North America or Europe?
  2. What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  3. Do you have a multimeter?

In addition to this, if you have a Nest Thermostat 202, you can try the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings Nest settings icon
  2. select Factory Reset.
  3. Your thermostat will ask you to confirm your choice. Once you've confirmed, your thermostat will take a few moments to reset.

And check if the issue will persist.

I look forward to your response.

Best,

Renz

It turns out that the HVAC guy connected the condensate pump incorrectly, causing the error.  Thanks for the response, though.
