Eco Mode Question

Hi, we were given a Google Nest from a family member since they upgraded to a newer thermostat. The Nest is probably one of the older models and the box had been already thrown away so we're figuring it out as we go.

With the weather being nice out, would it be ok to leave the door open while the Nest is on eco mode or would it be more efficient to turn it off completely?
