Enables full Opentherm runability

I bought the Google Nest 3rd learning because I was looking for a good Open Therm wireless thermostat, but I'm finding that the temperature modulation function of the heating system is not working fully correctly. When the room temperature set-point is reached, Nest thermostat still commands the system to be switched off, instead of lowering the temperature of the radiators. This is not the correct functioning in Open Therm mode; if I wanted this type of functioning I would have stayed with the old on-off thermostat.

Therefore, I kindly ask that an update be implemented as soon as possible that allows full modulating operation following the set-point, modulating the power and the heating system temperature, without ever switching off the generator, including the external temperature in the calculation.

Hey VP86,

We appreciate your interest however; we don't have any news to share about an option to enable full OpenTherm sunability for Nest Thermostats. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback.

I also suggest that you send feedback by following this link. Let me know if you have other questions or concerns, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Best,

Mel
