Extreme cold weather

For temperatures below freezing which is the best temperature to put on the thermostat? And also should I put it on Heat, or cold, or heat/cold?  Thanks.

Personally, I would just set my Nest Thermostat to a comfortable temp using Heat. Something like 62f if you like it a bit chilly etc.

You could also use schedules or even adjust the temp from your phone if you want to change it.
