Fan won’t stop running

I just installed the Nest Learning Thermostat on January 7th and the fan won’t stop running.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. Do you mind me asking if you have a C wire installed to the device? If the system continues running beyond five minutes, after the thermostat has been removed from the backplate, the problem lies in the control system of your furnace. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
