Fitting nest thermostat

Hi guys, I was hoping to fit a nest thermostat to replace my old one, but not sure if I can or if it will even work. I've took some pics of my old thermostat. Any advice would be much appreciated.

HI CraigP1217,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

As I looked into the wiring diagram on the cover, it looks like the wire labels are 1, 2, 3. This type of wiring is what we call a proprietary system and it is not compatible with Google Nest thermostat. Could you share a photo that shows a clearer view on the wiring diagram? This online compatibility checker could also help us.

I hope to hear from you very soon.

Best regards,

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Thanks so much for your response, after some research. I decided to try the nest thermostat E. Which worked a treat. All thanks to the simple two wire connection on the heat link. Everything seems to be working a treat. Thanks again for your assistance.

King Regards

Craig
