my existing Google learning nest thermostat is connected with the following wires:
W1, C & Rc, for a boiler-run radiant heat system. I noticed that the Rc is connected, but not the Rh. Why is that? I thought Rc is for cooling/AC only.
Also, do i have to turn off any power panel if i need to rewire or upgrade it, considering it's powered by a C wire ( 24 volt)? is it necessary to turn off the power , will i get a shock if I don't turn it off?
