Google Nest Learning Thermostat First W5 error then just keeps restarting loop

After 3 months it lost Wi-Fi connection. I tried everything the forums suggested to do. Like factory rest, reboot router, charge it via cable. nothing worked. I contacted support and all they did was tell me to do exactly everything that the forums said to do and had I already tried. So I figured ok I will just deal with it not having Wi-Fi. A couple months later it just started a restart loop to where it was causing my air to kick on and off. I tried charging it via cable, factory restored it, nothing worked. I reinstalled my old thermostat and fine no problems. This unit is less than one year old. I got it through my gas company and they told me I had to contact Google. I would really just like to return it for a replacement. Honestly I am so close to Just giving up on google products and becoming an Amazon customer. Any help with this would be much appreciated, thanks.
