Hello,
I purchased the Nest Power Adapter thinking this would solve my constant low battery issues with my 3rd Gen Learning Thermostat. I have a heating and cooling system and installed the power adapter as listed in the instructions. It was an easy install and ran into no issues, but the power adapter is not charging the thermostat.
Both heating and cooling turn on just fine, so I believe all the wires were installed correctly. Any suggestions as to what can be done?
Thanks.

Seeing as this was wired properly and it didn't work, I'm going to chalk it up as I'm one of the few I saw in my search to whom this adapter was not the answer to their power problem. I will be uninstalling and running a dedicated c wire.
Thank you all for your help.

Hiya DownXLaw,
No problem at all. Please let us know in the future if you're still experiencing any issues in the future when you install that C wire. In the meantime, did you have any other questions or concerns?
Best regards,
Jeran
