Hello, I just want to check if my current thermostat wiring is compatible with the Google Nest Thermostat.
Thanks!

@zekromxyz , your current thermostat appears to be controlling only a heating system. I would recommend you use a Nest Thermostat and not a Nest Learning Thermostat. You have extra conductors so it is possible to add a common wire.

Where would I connect the red wire to on the Nest Thermostat?

Hi zekromxyz,
Thanks for getting back to us. Put the red wire to the W (heat) terminal and the black wire to the R (power) terminal on the Nest Thermostat. Hit this link for more information about installing a Nest Thermostat. Let us know your update here.
Regards,
Emerson
