We just set up our Nest yesterday and it seemed to be working fine. This morning we wake up to a low battery signal and a notification that the Nest was offline. Our old system and wiring is compatible with the Nest. We ran the tests last night and said wiring was compatible and it registered all four of our wires. Now in the app it said there was a wiring issue and gave a link listed as “Learn More” but when you click on the link it takes you to a 404 page (IOS Nest app). Any thoughts or assistance is appreciated! Can someone have this broken link corrected as well?
We have also plugged our Nest into a USB charger for the time being to charge.

@Soupp you must not have a C wire. Your thermostat detected that you have a system that is compatible with the nest thermostat. However, a rare number of systems who use the alternate ability to reach the common side, using one of the R or W wires runs into a problem known as power sharing problem. Whatever possible if you have an unused conductor wire as part of your thermostat we should install that conductor as a C wire. if you do not have a spare conductor then we have two options. One is to install a 1/2 W 100 ohm resistor in your system or install a nest power adapter.
