I have a house that has 1 A/C unit but I have 2 Honeywell thermostats. One controls the temp upstairs and one down. I replaced the downstairs one and it works fine but now the one upstairs does not cool. I have no idea how they were originally configured but I assume I had 2 zones. It is 83 degrees upstairs and will not cool. I tried emailing and chatting with the so called Nest Pros and they were of no help at all. How do I get control of the Temp upstairs? If I replaced that thermostat with a nest would that do anything or it there something at the A/C level that needs to be configured to work with these units? this is the wiring of the downstairs unit I installed.
