Google Store customer service doesn't exist

Is there actually a customer service center? 

I ordered a thermostat on Nov. 28. I received notification that this was 'waiting carrier pickup' on Dec. 2. There has been no update. I have REPEATEDLY contacted the Google Store service chat and call and I am being told to 'be patient and wait.' I've asked for a refund so I can just drive to Best Buy to buy it in person now but there's no answer. What's going on??????
