Google Thermostat - Battery issue and cannot contact support in Australia

Hi - My thermostat is broken (says it is fully charged, and then when I plug it in it says it has no charge) and I have been trying to contact customer service desperately for two weeks, with no luck. The +61 1800 905 941 number is always closed....send countless message to the chat (Case ID 4-6722000032607) with no reply, and tried the US team but they were unable to help me (Case ID [7-9212000032951]).

We really need this to operate our heating, can you please let me know how I progress this.

Just a quick question though, when and where did you buy this Nest Learning Thermostat?

Thanks for getting back to me. 

The google nest thermostat came with the house we purchased, therefore, we do not know where it was originally purchased from.
