I have recently tried using my nest thermostat e and all I am getting is a home icon with a download icon. Can anyone help please??

Hi there, I have done a reset because it did not worked anymore and now I see exactly the same as you do and I cannot do a thing anymore with it. I am curious to the answers. 🙏

I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with controlling your Nest Thermostat using the app. The icons that you're seeing in the Nest App means that there's no device linked to it yet. You can click on this link to learn more about adding your Nest Thermostat to the Nest App.
