My heat link is stuck on H71.
I have placed it next to the heat link. Literally within 0.5m. There is no blue light on the heat link box. Resetting it doesn’t work

Hi @Clarkmj111 and thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear that you're dealing with this kind of situation, but no worries — we'll sort it out together. Could you tell us when it started happening? Which type of Nest Thermostat do you have (Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd gen/3rd gen, Nest Thermostat E, or Nest Thermostat 2020)? Also, what country are you located in?

Could you give me some more details. I would be happy to try and assist.

1. Is this the first time it has been installed or has it been installed and working for some time before this behavior occurred?

2. Was it installed by an electrician/installer or by a Nest Pro?

3. Is there any LED at all on the Heat Link of any color?

Hi there. I'm just following up on our last message. Do you still need our help? Keep us posted.

Although there is power entering the device. It has no power light, it won’t reset it’s basically dead. So I don’t think anyone can help. It just died

We might be able to help. Please answer the questions above so we can continue the troubleshooting process.

it was installed by the company who installed my system boiler (in 2020)

I have no idea what a Nest Pro is

There is no light of any kind

we have had intermittent loss of hot water for the past 3 months -  which my boiler engineer couldn't identify as having a cause - he now thinks the heat link was intermittently failing, and now its totally dead.

I've found your form, however it seems the serial number and the address are missing. Make sure to include the display serial number starting with 09A (3rd generation thermostat)/15AA(Thermostat E), the email associated with your Nest account, the social handle (your social media account name) and your full post address(street, city, region, postcode). Make sure to also include this number "36863850" in the "How can we help?" section.

Where is the serial number?

The serial number is located on the back of the display, next to the QR code if you unplug it from the base plate.

Hi @Clarkmj111. You can find the Serial Number in the thermostat Settings > Tech Info > Display, or on the back of the display if you remove it from the stand/base. Please fill the form again and let us know when you've done it. Here's the link for easier access: https://goo.gle/3c1EllO.
