Since few weeks (Ealy August) my Heat link is not working however I've noticed just 3 days ago when we came home. Here is the detail

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have? 3rd generation
  • When was it installed?  - - > Feb 2020
  • Did the issue happen during installation or after installation? - - > Heat link is off since beginning of August
  • Are there any lights on the Heat Link?  - - >No. Does the boiler activate when calling for heat by pressing Manual Mode? - - > No
  • Are you seeing any wiring report or error on the thermostat and/or the app? - - > no wiring issue
  • Have you had any recent power cuts in your area? If yes, document the answer to the following questions. - - > no ppwer cut
  • How long ago was the latest power cut? - - > n/a
  • How often do these power cuts occur?
  • How long was the power off for? (Be specific.) Do you get an error after each power cut?
  • Has the thermostat been on since this power cut?
  • Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system? - - > No
  • If yes, how long was the power off for? (Be specific.)
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before contacting us? - - > I'VE followed all troubleshooting steps

Can Nest support team provide guidance and assistance on this issue?

Is there any update on the issue I've reported? it looks like many Nest customers are facing the same issue, Has the product got a systematic fault in its design?

Should I expect a reply from Google / Nest support team?!

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for all the provided information.

If you have not already check and make sure that no breakers or switches have been tripped. Make sure to check the boiler as well as sometimes they can have a separate one.

If it all looks good try and power cycle the Heat Link, if you are comfortable, by turning off the power to the Heat Link for a few minutes and after turning it back on. See if the Heat Link has any reaction when pressing the button on it.
