Hello,

After 2 years my NEST HEAT LINK Gen 3 stopped working.

Electrician cam and the box is dead.

Can we get a replacement one without buying the full set?

I have filled in a from found in a previous conversation but did not get any replies...

Thanks

Thanks for letting us know @LGiard

Could you tell me please when did the situation start occurring first and when was the thermostat installed?

Also, please answer to the following questions:

Are there any lights on the Heat Link? Does the boiler activate when calling for heat by pressing the Heat Link's button to activate Manual Mode?
Are you seeing any wiring report or error on the thermostat and/or the app?
Have you had any recent power cuts in your area? If yes, has the power been restored?
Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
If yes, how long was the power off for? (Be specific.)
Could you tell us please if you've checked on the breaker switch and fuse box?
Any blown fuse in there? Have you tried to turn the breaker switch off and on again? Any difference?

Hello DragosC,
It stopped working 2 weeks ago I think... i realized when back from holidays, so not sure of the date.
I bought it in January 2020.

1. No light at all... not doing anything when pressing either short or longer the button.

2. On the thermostat it says something like electrical issue; but it is because the Heat Link is not transferring anymore, technician confirmed it.

3. No power cut, no.  And  checked with the technician, power is properly getting in the device.

4. No maintenance, no

5 Fuse box checked (first idea 😉 ) and also checked by technician.

The device gets the power, but does not start at all.

Thanks,

Laurent

I did it already last week, using the serial number of the Heat Link, not the main device.

Just did it again with the reference you mentioned

Let me know if you need anything else
