Heat Link failed

Hi,

My Heat Link, (the version for the 2nd generation Nest Learning Thermostat) has disconnected from the thermostat and will not reconnect.

I cannot find a replacement for sale but can find some "Heat Link for 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostats" available.

Can I replace my failed Heat Link with this later version - will it connect to my 2nd gen Nest Learning Thermostat?

Hi @TonyTort! The Heat Link for 3rd generation will connect to a 3rd generation thermostat, therefore we'd recommend getting the full kit, if you want to "upgrade" it. However, I can try to assist you with the issue you encountered, if you want and see if we can sort it out eventually.
