Heat Pump connected correctly?

Just wanted to see whether my heat pump wiring is correct. When I had placed the brown wire on O/B it did not seem to work (shown below), but when I placed the brown wire on W instead and white on O/B, it seems to work after I switch the google setting to B. Does this make sense?

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. It looks like your white wire is your reversing valve. To ensure your Nest Thermostat wiring configuration, please share the photo of the wires connected to your system control board. Ensure that the labels are visible.

You can use this wiring guide:

• C - Blue
• *OB - White
• G - Green
• Y - Yellow
• W - Brown
• R - Red
