Heat inop

My heater will not come on. It was working fine last year and now when I set to heat the blower starts for only a second and shuts off. at the same time it says delayed for 2 minutes or something like that and a green light comes on on the top of my nest

I have a nest thermostat with nearly an identical problem. I installed it about a year ago and went through 2 summer periods (cooling) and 1 full winter. This year when the weather started getting cold the thermostat seemed to recognize the heat needed to be running, it just wasn't sending the signal to make it happen. I put my "old" manual thermostat back on and viola, the heat works just fine.

I'm having a similar issue, with both of my new nests that control 2 heaters. Tries to kick on, fails, tries again, fails... The workaround is to set the temp to a low setting, wait a minute, then turn it back up to the setting I want. Not optimal and needs fixed by Google.

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to follow up and ensure you are good to go. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

My issue did not resolve. I replaced one thermostat with an Ecobee which works great, and used a standard non-wifi thermostat on my downstairs unit, which also works perfectly. That leaves me with 2 new Nests, so if we could get this fixed that would reduce my loss by 50%.

Please advise.
