Heat link dead

Hi Carina 
My nest was installed 2 yrs and 3 months ago by boxt . I assume an acredited installer.

the heat link was found to be dead . No light on.tried the 10 and 20 second reset and total power down .

also checked that power was on the unit .I contacted  Boxt they said the unit was out of warranty and to contact yourselves.
