Heat link not working

  • The heat link connected to my boiler does not work, no light flashing to establish connection and you can't manually turn the heating on/off with the button on the heat link. The only thing that seems to work is when I insert a USB into the heat link port from a power source, the lights come on the heat link but that's it, it still won't actually do anything.  how do you rectify this? My gas engineer said this is a nest issue and not the boiler itself. I've had it just iver 2 years and would appreciate this to be fixed or replaced as I think for the price it should be a bit more reliable than that

Hi @Billyvr1992 , I am sorry to hear you're having issues with your thermostat and would be happy to try and help.

It is great to hear you already had it checked out by an engineer.

If you confirmed the power is ok, no tripped switches or breakers, try and power cycle the Heat Link. Make sure it is not connected to the USB cable when doing so. Turn off the power to the Heat Link and turn it back on in a few minutes. See if it has any reaction after when you press the button on it.

Best regards,

AlexD
