AC kicks in when mode is on heat.  Gas powered system.  Moved the white wire  to /O/ port… worked for a couple hours and then the AC kicked back on.  Help!

You have a heat pump system or just air conditioner and gas furnace?

Only heat pumps need the OB wire,

Gas furnace and AC unit (separately).  So  where does the white wire go?

Hi folks,

@Houptee, thanks for the help!

@Sherryt728, thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

  • What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  • How is your previous thermostat and Nest Thermostat wired?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward
