What you have is a ductless mini-split system. These systems use a proprietary communications between the inside unit and the outside unit. You cannot connect a conventional thermostat to one these style systems. These type systems use sensors in the inside unit and outside unit to monitor adjust the compressor, EE Valve, fan speed and blower speed.

Thank you for your response and this information.
Maybe I look for a thermostat of the same brand and that works with this equipment.

If you purchased this system form a reputable supplier, it should include a thermostat. Sometimes they are hand held sometimes they are wall mountable.
