The heat temperature settings go with steps of a half degree (in Celcius). That is in the app, the schedule and the physical divice/GUI. But what you see is not what you get. Setting it for example to 19C is sometimes 18.8 and sometimes 19.1 or 19.2 degree’s. So the thermostat actually works with steps of 0.1 degree but all GUI’s show a rounded value to 0.5.
It would be appreciated if the firmware and app could be updated to work with 0.1 degree in the user interfaces as well. In my domotica system I can see the actual settings and correct it, but that has to be checked and corrected after every schedule update.
Are other users experiencing the same issue/inconvenience?

Hi, @haandrw!
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing inaccurate temperature readings with your Nest thermostat. I'd be glad to assist you!
The Nest thermostat measures temperature in increments of 0.1 degrees, but both the thermostat display and the app show temperature in increments of 0.5 degrees. This is because the system is designed to approximate temperature readings within a range of 0.3 degrees and above.
Thank you for your feedback regarding how the thermostat measures and displays temperature. We value your input and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Your suggestions help us identify areas for improvement. Please submit any additional comment using this feedback form.
Please feel free to reply if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Ana
