Hi,
My Heatlink has completely died. I have check all power sources, fuse boxes and circuits. I have two Heatlinks coming from the same power source, the first unit for down stairs and hot water is working perfectly while the upstairs unit is completely dead with no lights. I have removed it, checked the wiring but it is no good.
Is it possible to get a replacement unit?
Thanks
David

How old is the thermostat, that will be the first question?
Where are you located?

It is just over two years old. Located in Ballina, co. Mayo.

Hi folks!
Thanks for reaching out to the community @davebres and thank you for your willingness to help @Frustratedddd. I am sorry that your heatlink is dead, but no need to worry; help is here. I need to know a few things in order to provide you with a better resolution.
What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
Are you seeing any wiring report or error on the thermostat or app?
Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
If yes, how long was the power off for? Be specific.
I'll be waiting for your response; any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
Best regards,
Jeremy.

Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for coming back to me.
The thermostat is a 3rd generation smart version.
N71 was the code coming up which was for connection.
no electrical or plumbing works carried out. I have two heatlinks on the same electrical circuit and the other one which I use for hot water and downstairs heating is perfect. Everything in the fuse board
Thanks
David

Hi @davebres!
Thank you for keeping me updated. I appreciate the time you took to answer the previous questions. I'm glad to continue assisting you. Based on the information that you provided me. The meaning of this code is if one of the wires in your thermostat is receiving power, but it's less power than expected.
Please try the following steps:
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Jeremy.

Sadly this is incorrect, as the thermostat here is a UK/EU model. H71 is as mentioned a loss of power, but as the user states the Heat Link power has been tested, and proved dead. I would put odds on this is a common issue, and the component has failed inside the Heat Link.
The reason I asked the location is UK has Consumer Law on your side for faulty items, but in Ireland I don't think the same applies.
I am afraid your issue is 99% a faulty Heat Link
