Heatlink has stopped working

Rsh264

My heatlink stopped working a few weeks ago. It seems to have broken down as the led doesn't work anymore. It's only 3 years old, I would expect it to work much longer than just 3 years. I read about many issues with diodes and power supply. Please help me out as winter is approaching.

Hi there @Rsh264! I'm really sorry to hear about this, but I'll do my best to help. Could you please respond to the following set of questions and also try the steps at the end?

  1. What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  2. Are you seeing any wiring report or error on the thermostat and/or the app?
  3. Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
  4. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before contacting us?
  5. How many zones are present in your setup?
  6. Were there any power outages recently?

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check for all the breaker switches to be on.
  2. Turn the breaker switches off and then on again.
  3. Turn on manual mode, by pressing on the button of the Heat Link.

Thanks for helping out!

  • The model is Display-3.4
  • No errors in the app and the heatlink is non responsive, seems to have broken down completely
  • No recent service or maintenance
  • No I did not do any troubleshooting as the heatlink seems 'dead'
  • 1 zone in our house
  • No power outages that I know of

I think the heatlink just broke down. I read a lot of failures related to a diode?

Thanks again!

Thanks for the answers. Have you also gave the troubleshooting steps I suggested a go?

No not yet, I figured it was of no use due to the heatlink being unresponsive. But I can try, however I need a bit of help with the breaker switches. What are breaker switches/where can I find these on the heatlink?

The breaker switches or the fuse board of the electrical plumbing, not of the Heat Link. It is an board of on/off switches for different areas, in regard the electricity.

Ah ok. I checked the breaker switches and everything is working properly. I also checked the socket that powers the heatlink, that also works properly so that's not it.
