Hi,

I've got a 2 gen. Thermostat, It will not connect to the heatlink, it keeps on displaying code H1, tried them next to eachother, but no effect. Tried it numerous times in different postions, but still get error H1.

Any suggestions?

Please let me know,

Thanks,

Patrick

Hi, @Genderen,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear you're receiving the H1 error code due to the Heat Link not connecting. I'll do my best to help!

I appreciate you bringing the devices closer and attempting to connect them. To provide the best possible assistance, please answer the following questions:

  • What is the color of your Heat Link's light?
  • Did you try to take the Heat Link out of Manual Mode? If not, you can do so by pressing the Heat Link’s button once. When you see the two green lights underneath the button turn off, the Heat Link is out of Manual Mode.
  • When was the thermostat installed?
  • When the unit was installed, did the display communicate with your Heat Link? If yes, how long after the installation did the issue occur?
  • Has there been any recent work done on your heating system?
  • Have you had any recent power cuts in your area? If yes, has the error persisted since this power cut?

This information will help me to provide you with accurate troubleshooting steps. Thanks in advance.

Keep me posted.

Best regards,

Ana
