Home/Away Assist Not Switching to Eco Temps

I have 5 Nest Display 3.7 thermostats.  When in Away mode the temperature never switches to Eco mode. It maintains the last temperature manually set.  These products are tied to Vivint smart home user face - could this be causing an issue?

Hi Ozumbehl, 

 

Thanks for reaching out to us, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Can you check for the following below?

 

  1. Make sure the products are online. If the products are offline, they can’t switch status. If the products are offline, troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity issues first.
  2. Make sure location services are turned on for any contributing mobile devices.
  3. Check if there are multiple devices signed into the same account.
  4. Check Activity History in the Nest App (Settings > Home/Away Assist > Activity History), or the Activity feed in the Home app (lower right hand tab) - this should provide an explanation of when and why the home state changed over the previous 10 days. For example, the note "Home: Activity in the house. Living Room Thermostat 7:30 P.M." means that the home switched out of Away mode because the customer’s thermostat saw activity.
