As a nest user, I’m honestly surprised there’s no quick actions available for the learning thermostat.
UX is pretty poor considering how many clicks it takes to open the app, click into the thermostat, then adjust the temperature.
It has become easier and quicker to just get up and walk to the thermostat and turn it down manually. Waiting for the app to load is just additional time, when a simple quick action on my Home Screen would make me not want to remove the entire nest/goole ecosystem from my house.
Failing to see how this is beneficial over the original thermostat I had since I’ve resorted to just standing up and manually changing the nest thermostat.
Yall could easily add quick actions like you have done for android, but again, you want to make iOS users feel like they’re missing out by not being on android. It’s clearly a feature you’re aware would make your customers happier, yet you haven’t pushed an update to iOS to allow for quick temp adjustments. Can’t even program a “favorite” or different temp, just have to click into the thermostat every time.
Will be removing the thermostat and moving to a system that natively supports home kit.
