Thermostat used to control hot water schedule but has stopped controlling it.
Schedule is set and water drop appears but it never fires the boiler up (same when I boost).
After researching the problem in the forum,
I have tested the system and the heating works and fires but when I turn the hot water on I get a click but no response from the boiler. Likewise when I turn hot water off either app or thermostat there is a click but no change to boiler. I can manually override by pressing the heat link and I get hot water and heating engaged but this isn’t sustainable. Any advice on why the boiler doesn’t kick in but the heat link clicks and can be manually engaged by pressing it (can’t be a stuck valve etc).
has worked fine until the last couple of weeks and haven’t had heating on for weeks so can’t have only heated water during heating being on.
