This is the message........ "The app is having trouble connecting to the assisting Nest product. Make sure your close to it, that's it's online and that you r phone is connected to the same wifi network. TD013 (4096). " I keep getting this error. I already reset to factory setting twice. I can connect either one by its self but when I try to add one or the other as a second device it gives me the error message above. Please help.

Since there no one to help with the nest thermostat which I think it ridiculous. I figured out a way to add a second nest thermostat on my own. The only way is to add a second home to the app and treat the first floor as the first home and the second floor as the second home. The app would not let me add two thermostats to the one home set up. I hope this helps other people with dual AC units.

This is crazy. I am having the same problem, but I already have two homes and 11 thermostats and I don't want to have 11 homes in the app. Google seems to have jumped the shark with the thermostats....might be time to rip them out and replace with Ecobee.

Hey all,
Apologies for the delayed reply. I wanted to reach out, and see if you are still having trouble with adding your second device to the app. Please let me know if you are still having trouble, or have any questions from here. I would be more than happy to assist and ensure everyone is good to go.
Best regards,
Jake
