How can I remove the voice (Smart Speaker) feature from my Google Nest Learning thermostat? I do NOT want to command the thermostat by voice. But, I still want the app on my phone so I can control/monitor the temperature remotely.

Yeah, I'd like to know how to do this. Luckily summer is over. It was scary when my Google Smart speaker turned off the AC in my house. My wife was listening to the radio via the smart speaker, and said "Okay Google, turn it off" ....and it turned off the AC in the house.. I wondered why it suddenly got hot.
I want to fix it so this never happens again.

Have a great day,

I have a Google Home Smart system (Google Smart speakers, Nest Learning Thermostat, etc.)
I've been having issues with the voice command.
There have been times I'll ask Google to turn off the music, etc. I am playing on my Smart speakers. I'll say "Okay Google, turn it off" and it will turn off my thermostat.
This has happened a few times & I don't want this to accidentally happen anymore. (I don't need to accidentally turn it off in the middle of summer, etc.)
How can I remove the voice feature from my thermostat? I do NOT want to command the thermostat by voice. But, I still want the app on my phone so I can control/monitor the temperature remotely.
Thanks!
Bill
