How do I get my nest thermostat [older one ] to hold for two months while on vacation? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you need to keep your Google Nest Thermostat at 55 degrees while you are on vacation. I'm happy to assist you!

To achieve this, I recommend disabling several features on your device, such as Eco, Home/Away, and Auto Schedule. Please follow these steps:

On your Google Nest Thermostat:

  • Go to Settings > Nest Sense > Auto Schedule > No > Done.
  • Go to Settings > Eco > On heat to or cool to, tap and turn the ring until you see the option Off > Done.
  • Go to Settings > Home/Away > Stop using.
  • Go to Settings > Reset > Schedule > Reset.

These steps will help you put your Google Nest Thermostat in manual mode to prevent it from changing automatically.
