How to use Nest Thermostat for rental property to turn heat down when vacant

I am trying to figure out how to keep temperatures low when a property is vacant, could be for a week, or whatever period of time. I created a custom setting called "Vacant" that has the temperatures I want when it is vacant. But now I don't know how to tell it to just use the Vacant setting all the time, until I tell it not to. Do I have to go in and delete all the schedules? And then select "Vacant". Then when I get a renter I would have to reselect all the schedules? It seems like it should be easier. Vacant schedule and then Occupied schedule. Is there an easy way to do this?

Ok, I figured it out. You can click on home and away and set it up so you can manually turn on "Away" rather than it doing it automatically.

This article explains how to set a Temperature Hold, which is what you want when the house is vacant. It won't wipe out the schedule that you've set up; when you cancel the hold the Nest will revert to following your schedule.
