My thermostat indoor temperature reading is off by 7-8 degrees. I used two different thermometers to see what the actual temperature is in the house and they both stated 75 degrees, but the Nest shows 68 degrees. I restarted the Nest several times and did factory resets. The wiring connection is correct. The Nest is clean. I closed the hole in the wall behind the Nest too so no drafts would interfere with the thermostat reading. Not sure what else I can do. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi I suggest you contact google support, (the instructions below were suggested to me by another user and I was able to reach someone ). Good Luck!
Unfortunately, Google Nest does not have a published Support phone number. To contact Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Hello folks,
I'm chiming in to make sure everything is covered here.
I appreciate your suggestion to contact our team, @RosieT.
@Shecky, it sounds like you've already taken several troubleshooting steps to address the discrepancy in temperature readings between your Nest Thermostat and the other thermometers.
Since you've checked the wiring connection, cleaned the thermostat, and eliminated potential drafts, there might be a few other factors to consider. One possibility is a network connection. Have you contacted our support? If you haven't yet, could you share with us a photo of both your thermostat display and thermometer showing the temperature differences? Also, gather the signal strength on your thermostat's Technical Info settings. This would help us determine if this is a Wi-Fi-related issue.
I'll look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Mark
