Admittedly, I’m new to the Nest but it was installed by our builder in March during a remodel. It was working fine for a few months, then we shut it off in the summer (no AC) and now for the past month+ that we’ve been hearing the house, we’re having a lot of inconsistency and lots of cold air. Sometimes the heat works fine and we’re warm in the morning but then throughout the day and evening, we’re almost always experiencing cold air from vents when the system shows it is in heat mode (red). At most hours of the day, the display registers 67 but “in 2 hrs.” all while blowing mostly cold air. Then, when we least expect it, the air becomes warm and the house is properly heated. Guidance please?
