Installed power connector and still getting N260 code

I installed my Nest, based on the wiring the compatibility checker said I was fine.

But upon installation I got N260 code and the heat mode only blew cold air and kept restarting.

So I installed the C wire connector, but I am still getting an N260 code. I ran through the suggested next steps,  the power test tells me:

Vin: 26.728 V

lin: 64(W)

PS: Y-21, YW-64

But then when I go to power status it says “Power test not run g.co/nest/m25”

Honestly really frustrated and no idea what to do next, any help would be appreciated.

Should I be connecting the red R wire to the C input on the thermostat now that I’ve installed the adapter?

Hello sam363748,

I'm sorry to hear about the issues that you're having when trying to install the Nest Power Connector.

If the thermostat shows the power message N260 or N261, it means the thermostat receives low power. These reports are fixable by the proper installation of the Nest Power Connector.

Here are some references to help you install your new Nest Power Connector on your HVAC system:

Please let us know if it works.
