Iphone App won't connect to Google Home so I can use the Nest App

All of a sudden, a couple of days ago, I can't connect to the Nest App on my iPhone 11.  It says it has to be migrated to Google Home.  The phone stays 'frozen' trying to log in to Google Home.  I can access the Nest App via my desktop, but that is not very convenient, especially when I am away from home.
