Hi I have a nest 3rd gen thermostat and heat link fitted which controls the heating for the whole house except the living room which is still controlled by a separate thermostat which was the original set up.can I replace that thermostat (assuming the wiring is compatible)with a nest thermostat and connect it to the already fitted heat link.

Thanks for reaching out to us here @Rojojaal . I would be more than happy to try and assist you with this question.

The Heat Link is designed to only connect with a single thermostat. Same goes for the display, it is designed to only connect with a single Heat Link.

If you have a zoned system, with zone valves, and the old thermostat is connected and controlling the heating in the living room from another valve you can installer another Google Nest thermostat and connect it to that zone valve but you'll need the full kit.
